A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Capital University in Ohio, Jon L. Martin went on to receive both his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati. Admitted to practice in Florida and to the Bankruptcy Bars of its Southern and Middle Districts within the Eleventh Circuit, he leads the Martin County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee in Martin County, Florida. Jon is an active member of key professional groups—including the ABA’s Consumer and Business Bankruptcy Committee, the ABI’s Parallel Committees, NACBA, and the Florida chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He focuses his practice on consumer and business insolvency, guiding clients through Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13, and advising businesses and their owners on avoidance planning and the tax and IRS consequences of financial restructuring.
