Posted by Mark | August 04, 2017 | Hired Attorney | Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Smooth sailing in rough water

Just received my chapter 7 discharge. Throughout the entire process, Mr. Martin was available to answer my endless questions, often injecting a wry sense of humor which helped to put me at ease. He thoroughly described to me what to expect at my meeting with the trustee, and although I was advised... to answer all questions truthfully, having a pretty good idea of the questions that would be asked also made that experience less stressful. I would highly recommend Mr. Martin to anyone in the area seeking bankruptcy information/representation.

not a good experience

Hired Martin earlier this year to do a chapter 7. promised to research my case and get it done on time. He showed up late for court and had not idea of the facts of the case. Refused to answer any questions about the case. Had to hire another lawyer to finish and clean up the missing in incomplete d...ocuments.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
