Rishi S. Bagga, Esq. (J.D. / LL.M.) is an attorney with experience in civil and criminal litigation, including commercial, employment, criminal defense, and a variety of other legal matters. Rishi previously worked at a statewide law firm focused on insurance defense matters as well as operated a solo practice handling both criminal and civil matters. Rishi is a former Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County Florida where he prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases, including serious felonies, juvenile crimes, and domestic violence crimes.
Rishi is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York, and the District of Columbia. Additionally, he is admitted to the Northern, Middle, and Southern Federal District Courts in Florida, as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Rishi is a Florida Supreme Court certified Circuit Court Mediator.
Rishi earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D. '06) as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M. '10) in Law & Government from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. Rishi also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. '03) in Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.
Rishi is a former President of the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA) and is a member of SABA's National Advisory Council. Rishi also is a member of the Steering Committee for the UCF India Center and a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for UCF's College of Sciences.
Outside of his practice, Rishi operates and serves as General Counsel for a family-owned hospitality company.
