Professional attorney with results

Hired Lauren and her team for a car accident case in April of 2015. After a year of negotiation with geico insurance company fighting their offers to settle for next to nothing she was able to negotiate a full settlement for the limits of my uninsured/underinsured policy. Lauren currently handles cases involving wrongful death, motorcycle accident, pedestrian accident, bicycle accidents, truck accidents, slip/trip and falls, post traumatic brain injuries and medical malpractice claims. During her career, Ms. Calta has been involved in mass tort litigation against the tobacco and pharmaceutical industries. She is licensed to practice in Florida, New York, and in Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which limits memberships to attorneys who have obtained signficant verdicts or settlements of $1 Million and $2 Million or more, respectively. She is also a member of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, Florida Justice Associate, the Clearwater Bar Association and Lawyers of Distinction. While not working, Lauren values time with family and close friends.

An Attorney who gets the job done

We hired Lauren after a fall that resulted in a broken leg for my daughter (who played soccer in school) and surgery to repair it. While this was a stressful time for us Lauren was compassionate and thorough every step of the way. She asked the right questions and even went to take pictures of the scene herself. She kept us up to speed every step of the way and called and visited to check in on us and our daughter. Dealing with insurance companies is not pleasant and she fought for us. She wouldn’t take their offers that barely covered the medical bills and wasn’t afraid to go after them. Lauren got us a proper settlement and we couldn’t have been happier.

The best of the best

Lauren represented us after my husband was involved in a motorcycle accident. When I tell you that she knows her $#!+ she really knows her $#!+! She was in constant contact with us and let us know exactly what was going on the entire time she was working on our case. She checked in on my husband during his hospitalizations, surgeries and recovery. She truly cares about him and what he is going through. Not only does she care about her clients, she's an amazing attorney too! She was direct with the at fault party's insurance company with what he expected. She worked with our medical insurance company to negotiate the amount we had to pay them back and she got it down low. She won my husband's case quickly and we received more than expected! You will not find anyone better or more determined!

I called Lauren Calta after getting into a car accident in July 2019, then met with her within the next day or two. She sat down with me and listened to every detail that had happened, took a look at the photos that were taken of the accident and got to work right away. I had a long road ahead of me with doctor's appointments, physical therapy, and many procedures. Lauren checked in with me after every appointment and throughout this entire process, she truly cared about how I was doing and not just how the case was going. There were many times that I needed to reach out to Lauren and her team, and every single time they were there to answer the phone or an email. I was ALWAYS able to get in touch and that alone was assurance that I was in great hands. When Zervos & Calta say they have that New York touch, they mean it! The insurance company we were working against sent us a few extremely poor offers that wouldn't have even paid a fraction of the medical bills. Lauren did not accept, she fought for me. In the end I was completely blown away when I learned that the settlement we won took care of all of the medical bills, replaced my car and some. I will be forever grateful. I always felt that she had my back, and I would hire her 10 times again! You want and need Lauren on your side, it will be the best decision you make.

Highly Recommended!!!

I can not say enough good things about Lauren Calta. After being involved in an accident that left me scarred both physically and mentally, I was referred to Lauren, and I am so glad I got such a great referral. She was there every step of the way, she took on a majority of the burden and made the entire experience as stress free as possible, which allowed me to focus on healing and recovering from the traumatic ordeal. Everyone on her team worked quickly, efficiently, and kept in contact with me regarding my recovery, and the case. Many people tend to hear horror stories how cases get dragged out for years, how their lawyers are rude and show no sympathy. I can tell you right now that is not the case with Lauren. You won't find better representation.

I was in Florida celebrating my 50th birthday when I suffered a horrible slip and fall accident that landed me in the hospital. Awake in the middle of the night after surgery to implant hardware into my broken leg, I came across Zervos & Calta's website and entered my information. At 5am (I was shocked, but extremely pleased) I received a call from Lauren Calta herself wanting to know more about my case. Just a couple of hours later, I received a visit from her personally at the hospital. At our first meeting, I was immediately put at ease by her friendly demeanor and knowledge of the law, she was ready to get to work. Right away I knew I was in good hands and have never felt otherwise. Highly Recommended

In 2019 my husband was involved in accident on his motorcycle. He had multiple severe injuries including brain trauma. Compassionate and Tough!

When my mother was tragically killed in the summer of 2019 we did not know what to do, On the advise of family and friends we obtained Lauren of Zervos & Calta. I was amazed at how quickly she began working on the case. They were on the scene of the incident within fifteen minutes of my initial call! 100% Stress Free

just now Attorney Lauren Calta made my case 100% stress free. I'm not one to mess with legal issues and with her at the helm I didnt have to.
