Mr. Beck was highly ineffective in my high conflict family law case - first, I met with him after a judge had entered an order full of "findings" absent a evidentiary hearing.....why he would not IMMEDIATELY ask for it to be vacated based on that or recommend an appellate attorney do a writ of prohib...ition, I've no idea. Second, he neglected to have two extremely sensitive orders entered or modified - one, he totally forgot about and the second? He sent the proposed order to the judge 4 MONTHS AFTER THE HEARING! I was also charged for his paralegal's inability to copy (yes, I was charged for pointing out what needed to be corrected.) His office manager is extremely rude (I think she's his wife or related somehow)....but the biggest thing? Advising me not to "do anything that will set my ex off" - like I can control the crazy person who's been dragging me and our kids through the legal system for the past decade. So basically, I got taken for $20K by this guy and the only reason I write this is in hopes of preventing anyone else from doing the same.

Hired Beck, went thru the divorced, paid him cash on every visit. He could not get my ex to pay what he owed me.Ex then filed for a modification, went to court, and Beck was a complete push over. Ex never paid me anything, and when I called to speak to Beck to see if he ever filed petition to pay to ...the court, he would not even take my call. Made a big mistake for ever hiring him.. A total waste of a lot of money.

I tried to represent myself in my divorce and got severely taken advantage of by the Petitioner's attorney. The judge gave the Petitioner everything she wanted and then some... to the point of rubbing salt into my wounds. The opposing party's attorney tried to argue with Mr. Beck in the courtroom. Mr. Beck stayed calm and professional. Mr. Beck is a no-nonsense, "smooth operator" and he knows the LAW.

I was out of state and needed to hire an attorney in the Pinellas area to take over my divorce without me having to fly back there.
