In Florida, the term uncontested divorce means that the parties have come to an agreement to all the terms of the divorce. They’ve agreed to property distribution, to the time-sharing, to any alimony issues that have come up. When the parties have agreed on all of those issues then there's nothing for the judge to decide and them they can move forward to an uncontested final hearing.
