I saw negative reviews about this attorney before I hired him, and ignoring them turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve made in my case. I came to him with a long-running divorce case that was already organized, with the key issues framed and nearly ready for a final hearing. All he real...ly needed to do was finish the job: handle three enforcement/fee matters and bring the case across the finish line. Instead, my experience was that he did not finish what he was hired to do. In my opinion, he overcharged, did not keep up with or carefully read many of my emails, and the communication breakdowns led to missteps and confusion about what was actually happening with my case. At times I felt like I was fighting my own lawyer in court instead of having someone firmly on my side. The end result was that he moved to withdraw before the key hearings were completed, and then pursued a charging lien and fee judgment against me. I feel like I paid a lot of money for work that was left unfinished and for a result that did not reflect the strong, organized position I handed him at the start. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this attorney. I wish I had taken the earlier bad reviews more seriously. If zero stars were an option, that would be the proper rating for my experience.
