Maryann Rose Masella

Ms Masella’s passion is in trying personal injury cases. She excels in both recovering the best possible result for her clients and providing care to the sick and injured. Maryann has tried over 50 jury trials, both criminal and civil, with several resulting in multi-million dollar verdicts.

 Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. Masella practiced in the Tampa and Brandon offices of Martinez Odom Law Group. Prior to that she worked for two years as an assistant public defender in Pinellas County. While there she represented both adults and juveniles charged with misdemeanors and felonies.

Maryann Masella is a civil trial attorney and registered nurse currently practicing in the Pasco County area. She litigates all types of personal injury cases, general negligence actions, defective products cases, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. Born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, she began her career as a registered nurse and specialized in the area of labor and delivery. Maryann received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University. Upon her graduation she received an award for Outstanding Leadership and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honors Society for Nurses.

Ms. Masella attended law school at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and graduated with honors. Maryann also received a CALI Award for obtaining the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy class where she tried numerous cases in mock trials. While in law school, Ms. Masella worked full time as a registered nurse in labor and delivery. She also volunteered by teaching free legal classes to the public and assisted at the local legal services office.

Maryann Masella is licensed to practice law in Florida in both State and Federal courts. She is an active member of several state and national professional legal associations. These include the Florida Justice Academy, the American Association for Justice, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.

In 2012 Maryann was initially selected as a “Rising Star” and was also made a “Superlawyer”. The Super Lawyers selection process is a comprehensive, good-faith and detailed attempt to produce a list of lawyers that have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their chosen fields.
