The first two words that come to mind to describe Attorney Tim Doud are knowledgeable and trustworthy. Attorney Doud and his staff demonstrate professionalism, knowledge, and years of experience in Family Law in Hernando County. After a poor experience with a prior Family Law attorney, Attorney Dou...d quickly recognized points where my situation was escalated unnecessarily and immediate strategized to, FINALLY, move towards a resolution. His courtroom presence is nothing less than stellar as he quickly neutralizes any antics by his intense understanding of the laws and legal practices. The first time Attorney Doud appeared in court on my behalf and I saw him in action, I had a grand sense of comfort, easing many of my anxieties that have been building over the last three years with my unresolved custody matters. He displays a no nonsense, straight to the point approach. The staff as well as Attorney Doud is quick to respond to questions/concerns to easy the anxieties associated with my legal situation. Both Attorney Doud and his staff are knowledge about additional resources in the community to assist with individual situations. They have assisted me personally to tap into these resources. This has been a grand help and an extension of the comfort and peace of mind from all the stress that had been created with the prior attorney, in addition to the underlying custody matter. My only regret is that I did not find Attorney Doud first! I truly believe my custody matters would have been resolved within the first year if he was on my case from the start. While the previous attorney overcharged me by an absurd amount, Attorney Doud’s fees are reasonable and fair. He is very ethical in his practice. Earlier this year, I was telling Attorney Doud about some of my son’s accomplishments, including the Good Citizenship Award from the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He was smiling, and then stated he knew that organization very well . . . . as he is a member himself! Not only is Tim Doud of fantastic attorney . . . but a Good Citizen too!

If you're not rich, don't hire him. He's a great lawyer but if you don't have an endless bank account don't hire him. Almost a year ago I hired Mr. Doud as my attorney to represent me in a child custody matter, wherein my daughter was being neglected and abused by her mother. We got 3 months befor...e the Pre-Trial and he wanted almost $15,000.00 from me to cover the Pre-Trial & Trial. His office then refused to provide me with billing statement after he withdrew as my counsel.

Attorney Doud is excellent! He is super agressive, responsive and has some of the best legal staff out there. My case is a tough one, and one that required a no nonsense lawyer and Tim Doud fit the bill. I would, without hesitation, recommend this attorney to anyone who really needs someone in their ...corner to help keep their kids safe, as I did.
