The most incompetent and expensive law office my family has ever used. My mom went to this office for a divorce. Over 8K later, still no divorce and signed release and handed to Amy. After releasing this office, and paying bill in full, Amy still called & sent emails wanting payments for next part of... divorce. WE DON'T WANT TO USE YOU ANYMORE!! NO itemized bill. Just a paragraph listing what attorney supposedly did plus listed things other attorney did to add more hours to bill. When asked, in writing and two times in person, about things we know other attorney did there was no response. RESEARCH? What a JOKE!! There was none. Padded the bill way too much. Want a good attorney?? Turn and run the other way and find one. BAD ATTORNEY!!!! INCOMPETENT STAFF!!!

Doud - not only does he make you feel inferior to him but without advance notice he WILL make you literally sit outside his office of your scheduled appointment and demand more money that you had no idea why or what for until you can even say a word to him! And don't fire him as an attorney because h...e fires back with whiny letters making you feel like you did something wrong. Personally Doud was more of a set back in my divorce then any kind of help. After firing him and hiring another lawyer, my divorce was finalized within 3 months with half the cost and 1/3 less the time.

Hired this atty for a divorce case. In the 2yrs he never sent a bill! Decided to go to trial bc that is what his office is known for; dragging it out and running up the bill. Have him $5k for trial just to find out 9mos later he never even submitted the paperwork! Then we choose another atty and he r...efused to give me back any money! They could provide NO evidence anything was done w trial. Then sent me another 5k bill to detour me from filing a complaint w bar. Many people in spring hill have had exact same experience w him so I'm no sure where these other 5 star reviews are coming from. Ask any atty in the area and all are familiar with his tactics.

I am currently working with Mr. Doud and his staff on a divorce and custody issues. He and his staff have treated me very professionally. Attorney Doud and his staff have been fair, prompt and on point. They approach a case by using the law and not unscrupulous tactics as other firms do. So far the f...ees have been reasonable. If you're not rich, don't hire him. He's a great lawyer but if you don't have an endless bank account don't hire him. Almost a year ago I hired Mr. Doud as my attorney to represent me in a child custody matter, wherein my daughter was being neglected and abused by her mother. We got 3 months befor...e the Pre-Trial and he wanted almost $15,000.00 from me to cover the Pre-Trial & Trial. His office then refused to provide me with billing statement after he withdrew as my counsel.
