Took 1k from my dad just for a piece of paper and him not giving any updates for my dad case we kept calling just for him to push us off the calls was no longer than 19 seconds and he only visited my dad once in jail and it was no longer than 7 mins he left and didn't say nothing else. then he brings... up how much it cost for him to represent my dad. mind you we gave him 1k just for him to not do what he said he says he going to do like look at the case, pull reports, and a least give us insight but he didn't then we asked for are money back and he said no....WOW.... very money hungry!!!!!

Consulted w Mr. Gourley on a pending case.Gave him 2500.00 and waited a few weeks for arraignment which got pushed out 2 weeks.Called him the day of original arraignment which was on a Tuesday (April 10th), still nothing filed,no discovery,no nothing,he said just waiting to see what they hv or if the...ir gonna even file charges before I know what we're facing....looked up the case on line my self the next evening n saw case was "abandoned/closed",called him Thursday (the 12th) early morning,told him what it said n he responded " yes it's closed they didn't have anything to make a case or file charges on" I asked about the 2500.00 n he says " you don't owe me anymore n they could still open the case if evidence comes up...I'm not sure how he earned 2500.00 on a case he never had to do anything on but wait.He may be a very good attourney but fair with his fee's I would have to say not...I'm a single mom n struggled to come up w the $ I gave him to help my son n really couldn't believe he thought he earned 2500.00 on a case just for agreeing to take it.I am not sure if I hired him or just consulted w him,I met him once n gv him the money and he said we just wait n that was it other then the day I called him on the 10th.
