In my representation of injured accident victims, I strive to provide compassionate representation that will fit the particular characteristics of each case and client. Some cases require vigorous litigation and trial. In other cases, clients place a high priority on avoiding litigation and reaching an out-of-court resolution. Neither strategy is right or wrong, but simply case specific and subject to the client's needs and preferences.
I have handled, and continue to handle, numerous types of personal injury cases. These include motor vehicle collisions, truck collisions, motorcycle cases, premises liability claims, defective product claims, medical malpractice claims, and nursing home negligence claims.
On a personal note, I have a wife and two daughters. My girls attend public schools in Marion County. One is a nature lover and the other loves to shop. I have served as the Board Chair at my local YMCA for more than two years and currently remain on the board. I have also been involved in access to healthcare endeavors and am certified as a patroller for the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA). I am an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association (FJA), served on the Young Lawyer's Board for the FJA, and have served for several years on the FJA Vanguard Fundraising Committee.
My personal interests and hobbies outside the practice of law focus heavily on athletics and the outdoors. I love to ride and race mountain bikes and participate in organized rally rides on road bikes. Before becoming a mountain bike enthusiast, I was and avid runner and In 2005 ran the New York Marathon. Each year I try to take an "outdoors trip" with my father and brother for hiking and other similar activities. Some day I plan to compete in Xterra triathlons and Adventure races with my wife.
