No lawyer in Florida has been a Board Certified Expert longer than me - over 35 years.  The advertising lawyers rarely talk about Board Certification which is limited to fewer than 5% of Florida's 100,000 lawyers, achieved through experience, judge and lawyer evaluations, and rigorous testing, since most of them are not Certified.  You see, only Board Certified lawyers are permitted to say they are "Certified Experts".  You probably want a Board Certified surgeon with years of experience doing your surgery.  Why not have the same expertise and experience handling your accident case - with no fee charged unless a recovery is made?  And the fee is no more than that of a non-Certified lawyer.

I was selected by Super Lawyers as the first personal injury lawyer in Ocala for that distinction, a designation enjoyed by fewer than 6% of lawyers in Florida, and a designation i did not apply for.  I spent 10 years representing insurance companies and learning their "ways" before dedicating my practice to only helping accident victims 33 years ago.  I am actually a native to Ocala, 5th generation, actually living and invested in our community, with our Historic District office our ONLY office, a veteran (1st Lt. U.S. Army 1970-1972), and "AV" rated by my peers and judges for over 30 years by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating, a distinction awarded less than 15% of all lawyers. 

With extensive community and charitable involvement, I was fortunate to be a past recipient of the "YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award" for the entire Central Florida area, from amongst over 10,000 volunteers.  I also recently served as the President of the Florida State Golf Association and its 260,000 members.
