We went to John McGraw to draft up a letter for us because we were having issues with the seller when trying to purchase our home. We sat down with him right as his office was closing (after waiting at least 30 minutes) for maybe 15 minutes, and he had us write out a $250 check for the letter. Firs...t thing the next morning we got good news and no longer needed the letter. I called his office first thing in the morning and he was not in yet. I left a message asking him not to start the letter that we no longer needed it. When he called me back, he said that was fine that he barely did anything so he would give us a refund and just deduct the small amount of time we took. It has been a month and a half of getting the run around about the refund check. It never came, so my fiancé went to his office. $85 was what he gave us for a refund check. So unless you want to pay $165 for nothing but feeling like you are being rushed out because it's the end of the day, I wouldn't refer anyone.
