Attorney Daphne Robinson prides herself in being able to relate to her clients on a personal level and in being highly driven to achieve the best possible results for her clients, their children, and their businesses.
Attorney Robinson graduated with her Bachelor’s from Clayton State University and went on to earn her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Florida Coastal School of Law. While at Florida Coastal, Attorney Robinson received a specialized certification in Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Drafting. All of which was accomplished while being the mother of five school-aged children.
Attorney Robinson handles a broad spectrum of matters for the firm. Her family law practice focuses on divorce, child support, time-sharing, Department of Revenue actions, temporary and concurrent custody by extended family, domestic violence, name changes, and paternity. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar where she serves on the Domestic Violence and Children’s Issues Committees. Daphne’s commitment to the area of family law began before she was sworn in as an attorney. While a student at Florida Coastal, Attorney Robinson served as a law clerk in the area of family law for Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida and Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. and volunteered hundreds of hours of pro bono legal services to family law legal aid clients throughout the state. Attorney Robinson also had the privilege of serving a judicial clerkship with Magistrate Robin K. Brown of the Family Court Services Division for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Duval County.
Attorney Robinson also provides a variety of services for the firm’s corporate clients, as she prefers to take a proactive role in serving the needs of her corporate clients by counseling them on business decisions to minimize risk, engaging in contract drafting and negotiation, and finding practical solutions to the issues that disrupt their business activities. Prior to attending law school, Attorney Robinson served as a litigation paralegal for over ten years for law firms and Fortune 500 companies where she managed cases in the areas of complex commercial litigation, products liability defense, employment defense, and zoning and land use.
Prior to starting her own firm, Attorney Robinson was an associate attorney with a statewide insurance defense firm and staff counsel for the second largest insurance carrier in the country where she counseled and represented insurance companies in personal injury protection matters, health care providers in medical malpractice cases.
