The Law Office of Judith Paul LLC. is a boutique law firm that provides legal services and consultation to individuals and families. I provide a diverse range of services and guidance to individuals who are impacted by the care and support of a senior, elder or disabled individual. 

Aftrer graduating from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, we moved to Flroida to be with my mother after the death of my father.  We soon realized that she was showing the beginnings of memory loss and we assumed dementia.  The next few years were difficult for both her and us, and after some years she moved to an extended care facility.  The memory loss became much worse and on some days she knew who I was but on other days she referred to me as her sister, her best friend from high school (she was in her 90s) and finally she didn't know me at all. She passed away at age 99 just before making 100.

I found that the best thing I could do for both of us was to agree with her, try to keep a positive outlook, and find humor everywhere.  When she asked me if I had married that boy form Canada yet,  we'd been married 40 years and he wasn't from Canada, he just worked there, I told her that I was thinking about it. She told me to get busy or she'd never have any grandchildren. (By then there were three grandsons and a great grandson). So I said "OK".
