Perhaps the best Probate Attorney in USA !

When my Aunt died in 2013, I had no idea it would take until 2018 to unravel the complexities of her estate, as a non-USA citizen living in Europe. As Dawn helped us with one issue, another unexpected element would crop up, creating yet more and more paperwork for both Dawn and us to go through.... Throughout this period Dawn was clear in what we needed to do next, supported us far beyond her mandate, and as the months rolled into years , was as supportive as any Attorney could be. From her first response to our initial request for help, to following through to completion of the Probate for my Aunt, she could not have been more supportive and professional. She was patient to the extreme , answering every tiny question and query we had in a professional and just as importantly quickly, and truly helped us navigate the USA Probate system as a non resident alien living thousands of miles away ! I simply cannot praise her work ethos enough & for the ongoing high level of constant support she gave us over these recent years. I sincerely believe she must be among st the most sincere, hard working & genuine professional Attorneys in Florida if not the whole of the USA, and we were very lucky to have her support. I am very grateful for the previous reviews, others had put on this site, that gave us confidence to approach her as our Attorney . As you can imagine living so far away & dealing with a Probate as a non resident and non USA citizen was extremely daunting with the complex issues our individual Probate case raised. So without hesitation, I can recommend Dawn to anyone who needs her Professional help, support and guidance, as we did - she will stand steadfast to help you throughout the whole process and create calm in rough waters and light at the end of what at times ,may feel like a dark tunnel. I feel very privileged and lucky to have had her as our Attorney. Thank you Dawn for all your hard work.

Florida Ancillary Probate

Ms Ellis, Esq did Florida ancillary probate on pre-deceased father's estate at the time of my mother's passing; then she did mother's Florida ancillary probate estate. Both estate probates were flawlessly accomplished in reasonable time. I add that Florida ancillary probate for low-value plot of und...eveloped property is much more difficult & expensive then same procedure in say Virginia, but I cannot and do not attribute this deficit to Ms Ellis, Esq rather to the probate laws of the State of Florida. I readily & heartily recommend Ms Dawn Ellis, Esq for anyone's Florida ancillary probate needs. She did excellent work on my behalf. Thank you Ms Ellis, Esq.

Lawyer Review-Dawn Ellis

We contacted Dawn after finding her during an Internet search. We needed an attorney in Florida to do the legal work required to transfer the ownership of properties located in Port Charlotte and in Port Malabar from my Aunt to my brother and myself. These properties should have been included in my A...unt's estate, but were not. I reside in Michigan, and Dawn handled all of this as our sole legal representative in Florida. We did not have to travel there, and all legal issues pertaining to this matter were resolved by Dawn exactly as we wanted. She was always courteous and prompt in her repsonses, and clear as to what information she needed and what the costs for her services would be. We are very satisfied with Dawn's work and would recommend her to anyone with a similar legal issue to resolve.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
