Acquaintances of ours who have also adopted from Ethiopia referred us to Paul Consbruck. We needed an attorney to help us with a Recognition of Foreign Adoption. We had consulted with one attorney here in Pinellas County, but her fees seemed to be much higher that I thought the process warranted. ...I called Paul, and he expalined to me that he could do the process in our county, Pinellas, or the county where he lives, Duval. Because Paul has good working relationships with the judges and clerks in Duval County, we decided to go that route. We actually had our hearing via telephone conference yesterday with a notary present on our end. Paul is responsive, he speaks plain English, he doesn't make things more complicated than they should be. He almost always picked up the phone when I called, but if I got his voice mail he was quick to call back. He's also super quick with email responses. Now that we've received our final judgment, he has given us the necessary forms to apply for our son's certificate of citizenship. We can consult him on any follow up issues relating to the re-adoption. I can't imagine the process being any smoother. I am completely confident that everything was done properly.
