We are a Dutch-American family residing in the EU. My husband and I contacted Paul in 2010 to assist us in the completion of our son's readoption in Florida. Because of our residence status and paperwork from multiple countries, we were not the easiest case to deal with. We were pleasantly surprised ...with Paul's calm and straightforward approach, putting us at ease immediately. Our readoption went flawlessly! A few years later, we contacted Paul again to facilitate the readoption of our second son- again, completely seamless. He even made sure the judge who signed off on our first readoption facilitated our second. Seemingly small, but for us as a family, significant. Recently, we contacted Paul with questions regarding repatriation/citizenship of our children to the United States. He answered us within one day and the detail of the information he provided us showed that he (once again) put heartfelt effort into his response. We have nothing but praise and gratitude for Paul. Paul was very helpful in the finalization of the adoption of our son from Uganda. When it was time to apply for his certificate of citizenship (he was automatically granted citizenship at the time of finalization- we just needed to apply for the paper) we were denied wrongfully. As a normal person I ...did not know how to best fight this even though I knew it was wrong. Paul was beyond helpful in helping me understand why it was wrong and how to go about fighting it. He was patient and thorough. He even took time to answer me on a Friday when his family was moving cities! I am thankful for him and for the reversal of the decision by USCIS. I am fairly certain that I would not have been able to figure it all out on my own because USCIS makes it very difficult to understand or talk to someone who does more than read a script and tell you they can't help you.
