I was fortunate enough to employ Ms. Annemarie Rizzo as my attorney the morning after my DUI arrest. Searching DUI lawyers on-line, Annemarie Rizzo was highly recommended. Having been charged with a DUI, I was apprehensive , about my fate. On my first meeting with Annemarie, she immediately put me at ease, explaining, that she felt confident I would not end up with a DUI conviction. Ms Rizzo negoti...ated with the State's Attorney, to have my charges dismissed. This was not going to happen. The Prosecutor offered a lesser charge of Reckless Driving, which would not have shown up well on my yearly background check, for my chosen career. Anne Marie felt we had a good case, and I was determined to go through with a trial by Jury. I almost caved in at one point, not having seen Ms Rizzo in action, in the courtroom. She took the time to encourage me, showed empathy for my feelings ,and renewed my conviction, of the belief in myself. She did her homework, left nothing to chance, tied up every loose end, and proved that she was much better prepared than the prosecution. Immediately before trial, she knocked out the prosecution's best witness, by proving he was not qualified for the testimony he was about to give. She also had at least one aspect of my Field Sobriety Test sequestered. Her defense was brilliant, eloquent, and professional.. She blew the other side away! The jury came back with the verdict:" Not Guilty !". I am so thankful to Annemarie, and also to her great team, who she made available to me, when she could not answer my questions immediately..
