After spending 15 years as a public school teacher in Florida and Georgia, I realized a lifelong dream and went to law school where I concentrated in the area of elder law.  My family roots are set deep in Florida where my great grandparents homesteaded, farmed, and raised cattle.  I grew up around the world as the oldest child of a military family and returned to Florida when my father retired. I love my job and the ability to continue "teaching" every day as I help educate my clients in the areas of long term care planning and public benefits. My best reward is when clients tell me at the end of our meeting, "I feel so much better than when I came in".
