A Steady Ship and Wise Counsel - Keen Attention to Details

I retained Kenneth M. Poole, Jr. as my attorney in June 2011. Ken was steadfast in his representation of me in long-drawn-out, post-divorce litigation that concluded in June 2019. Ken never once let me down in his knowledge of my case and its myriad of details. He was quick to produce documents when ...they were necessary, and I was often in awe at how he made the complex simple. Ken was a steady ship and wise counsel. I highly recommend.

Honest and superb lawyer

I highly recommend Ken Poole to anyone considering hiring him. Having just finished a grueling twenty-month-long alimony modification that finished positively for me due largely to Ken's expertise, I can say that he was the best lawyer for my case. His knowledge of the law, his performance in the ...courtroom, and his dedication to my cause resulted in an outcome that exceeded my expectations. He worked diligently to ensure that I was fully involved in the process and that I was kept apprised of developments. When my opponent's lawyer engaged in questionable behavior, Ken insisted that we resist being drawn in and stick to the high road. Throughout an arduous case involving many ridiculous actions on the part of our opponents, Ken remained level-headed and helped to guide us to our goal of bringing the alimony to a reasonable level. Furthermore, Ken's demeanor makes him easy to work with; he's patient, he was open to my ideas on strategy, and he was highly responsive to my concerns and questions throughout this long process. His integrity is incredibly high, and he proved to me that I can absolutely trust him. My experience with lawyers has been very different from this throughout the years; I was incredibly pleased to have Ken show me otherwise.

He made a difference

My character assessment on Kenneth Poole is as follows: 1. He's sincere, very ethical, grounded and not pretentious 2. He's sharp, intelligent and thorough 3. He responded to my calls and emails right away 4. He's straight forward and addressed every issue I needed answered clearly and concisely ... 5. Most importantly, he made me feel as though helping me win my case was more important to him than getting paid. When looking to hire an attorney, I strongly suggest you select a few of them and call them for an interview. The initial consultation fees paid for these interviews will be well worth it if you come across someone like Kenneth Poole. He made a real difference and a huge impact in my life. I won't bore you with the details of my battle against a rich ex-husband who felt he was above the law and didn't have to pay what was declared in the divorce settlement. After wasting 3 months and 2500 dollars my horrible attorney told me I should try a collection agency because there was nothing she could do for me. Kenneth Poole turned all that around and collected all the past alimony and secured my future alimony as well. His deposition of my ex-husband on why he couldn't make the alimony payments was a masterpiece! Every lie he told was turned against him and in the end, he had to pay what was due and pay for my attorney fees. I wish most lawyers were like Ken, but sadly that's not the case. So I write this review hoping it will assist anyone searching for an attorney who will make a difference. Kenneth Poole made that difference for me and I will be forever grateful for his brilliant legal mind, his honesty, integrity and his kind reassurances in helping me get through and resolve a very frustrating legal battle.

So unprofessional

I hired Mr. Poole while I was getting divorce. I hired him because he belongs to a big firm, but that was it. I never heard before of him. What a terrible mistake!....After we spoke a couple of times, he told me that my case was too difficult and he prefer not to work with me. So I asked him if I co...uld get the $2000 back that I gave him as a retainer fee, and of course he said no. I hired a second attorney. Yes, my case was difficult because my ex husband run away with my children, but this second attorney got me a mediation in just 3 days and got my children back. Do not hire Mr. Poole. You will lose your money.

Beware

This attorney does very minimal work. I was asked to retain him by a partner in his firm and from day one I didnt have a good feeling but given the partner that asked me to retain him, I did. I have pretty much had to beg for proper legal information since that time. He filed some paperwork that anyo...ne could have filed, sent some emails, allowed the other party in my case to threaten him in to bringing such a simple case to a halt and then decided he wanted to remove himself from my case. Beware.............. You get what you pay for.

"Ken is a superb attorney who is diligent in his representation of his clients. I have opposed him on several cases and have been so impressed with how he handles himself in and out of the courtroom that I started referring him clients when I am unable to represent them for their desired legal matter"

"I would thoroughly endorse Ken Poole. I have seen Ken in action both when he was at the State Attorney’s Office and when he is representing clients in the private sector. Whether he is advocating for a person accused of a crime or protecting the rights and assets of someone going through a divorce, Ken is an exceptional attorney and someone I definitely trust."

"I endorse this lawyer's work. Being a former prosecutor Ken knows how to disect the prosecution's case and look for weaknesses. Having prosecuted both felonies and misdemeanors Ken now uses that experience for his clients. Ken is constantly researching case law to use on his clients behalf. Ken is a great choice if you are looking for a lawyer to zealously represent you on anthing from a DUI to a drug charge."

"I endorse this lawyer's work. I used to battle Ken in the courtroom when he was a Misdemeanor then Felony Prosecutor in Sarasota and Manatee. He is a great lawyer. His ability in the courtroom and preparedness was what impressed me the most. When we were looking to hire a lawyer he was the first name that came to mind. Since he has joined Finebloom & Haenel we have been so impressed by him. He is a hard worker and is always trying to educate himself on the law. I highly recommend Ken."
