Since it was hard for me to find an attorney that specializes in school education law in my area, I called Jane and left her a message about my 15 year old daughter's school administrative hearing that was taking place in less than 24 hours. She quickly returned my emergency call and listened attenti...vely to the situation and explained to me the process and my options, evaluated the case and kept me informed on what to do and how to handle the situation on my own and advised me to postpone the hearing to a more convenient time if this did not go my way and clearly explained to me her fees and what increment of times she uses to calculate the cost. I was pleased with her assistance, she answered my questions and was able to take notes. She did not charge for the initial consultation, I felt at ease talking to her and trusted her completely with this situation and I am very grateful. When I called her again the next day after the hearing and to update her about what just had happened, she advised me to email the school to make sure that none of this will follow my daughter in her educational transcript and will not affect her school placement, her acceptance to college and her future.
