James Kevin Drake

Ours was a real estate closing that took over 6 months, due to a supremely unresponsive and belligerent seller. We were out-of-towners, and at first Mr. Drake maintained a cool but friendly and professional demeanor. With time, however, he became more and more involved. He became Kevin. By the... time our ordeal was over, we could see that it was taking a lot for him to remain professionally detached. He did everything he could for us, without going over the line that separates client and friend. He actually visited the site daily, so that he could report to us as to whether the seller was carrying out his side of the contract. Having Kevin Drake representing us in Sarasota made us feel as comfortable as possible, given the circumstances. He was looking after our emotional needs. He also looked after our needs that were more technically legal in nature, and whenever he did not know the answer to a question (The seller presented us with many dilemmas), he did whatever due diligence was necessary.
