I have been practicing primarily in family court in Manatee County for more than 20 years.

I represent parents in all types of family court cases (divorce, child custody, etc.) where child support is an issue, as well as cases involving child support only. For several years, I reprented custodians through the Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement Program.

From 1997 through 2008, I devoted a significant part of my practice to representing parents who have lost custody of their children to the state (dependency court), averaging an open case load of 100 cases. During that time, I held a contract to represent indigent parents against the Safe Childrens Coalition (Department of Children and Families). I continue to accept clients in juvenile court on a private fee basis. I also represent grandparents seeking placement and/or visitation rights

It is always hoped that custody matters can be resolved by agreement. However, I have been actively involved in custody litigation (in addition to divorce litigation) throughout my career. This includes grandparent or third party custody.
