Monica Fish was my third attorney and she hung in there. I refused to admit guilt to a misdemeanor possession charge of marijuana. I was not guilty and there was no marijuana in my vehicle. Everyone wanted me to plead to the "Sweetheart" of a deal the prosecutor had offered and Adjudication would be ...with held and I would owe court costs and attorney fees. She even said it was a good deal; & for most it would have been! But I was thinking of my past that I struggled to build the future I still have; and I was ready to fight! I cannot express how she gave me passion for my rights; and stood beside me when the rest of the world would see my business name and reputation destroyed!
