Scott C. Rowland is a Matrimonial and Family Law attorney based in the Naples, Florida office of McLaughlin & Stern. Prior to becoming a Partner in McLaughlin & Stern, LLP, Mr. Rowland was a member of one of the longest standing law firms in Naples, FL., where he practiced for more than 14 years. Mr. Rowland is a graduate of Florida State University, where he received dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science. He received his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

Mr. Rowland is a native of Naples, Florida, who during more than a decade of practice in Southwest Florida has worked to develop a reputation for zealously representing his clients with a professional, knowledgeable, common sense approach. He applies his knowledge and experience to help clients develop a strategic, effective, goal oriented approach to their case.

In 2013, Mr. Rowland authored several articles on the changing landscape of Alimony in Florida, including a guest column in the Naples Daily News published in April 2013, entitled "Legislature Advances Bill to Change Nature of Alimony in Florida" and an article published in the July 2013 issue of the Adverse Witness entitled "The Alimony Reform Bill that Almost Became Law". Mr. Rowland has also written on the topic of parental relocation published in the December 2012 issue of the Adverse Witness, entitled "You Took Our Kids and Moved Where?".

Mr. Rowland was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000 and the U.S. District Court, for the Middle District of Florida in 2001. He is also an active member of the Florida Bar, Family Law Section and the Collier County Bar Association, where he has served as the President of the Family Law Section, President of the Young Lawyers Section and as a Director for the Collier County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Thomas S. Biggs Chapter of the Inns of Court where he has obtained the level of Master of the Bench.
