Land Use and Zoning 50%

Land use / zoning attorneys help you understand land use laws and zoning regulations, both of which concern how you use your land (for businesses, homes, farms, factories, etc.). A land use / zoning attorney can determine which rules apply to your property and development activities, and whether you qualify for any exceptions to these rules.

Attorney, consultant and friend

Katie has steered our condominium association through amendments of our declarations and by laws. She has protected the association rights and property through a protracted rezoning and development process from a new developer that purchased the neighboring property. She was always available and had ...the uncanny ability to speak at the level of her audience. Katie is just a nice caring attorney that has earned the title of friend.

Mortgage re-fi of 10 unit commercial property

Mrs Berkey represented my interests in confronting a nasty and confrontational bank holding my original mortgage. I would've been overwhelmed and abused without her

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
