I believe in hard work, thorough investigations, meticulous preparation, and honesty. Whether handling a family law dispute, a criminal matter, or a civil case, no stone should be left unturned. Every legal issue carries significant consequences, and the key to effective representation is a deep understanding of the facts, strategic application of the law, and unwavering advocacy. With this philosophy in mind, I founded my firm to provide clients with the highest level of legal skill and dedication when they need it most.
As the managing attorney of the firm, my role is to provide strategic and legal guidance for my team. I hand-selected every member of my team to ensure the highest level of dedication, skill, and commitment to our clients. When our firm accepts a new client, I personally assign a lead attorney to handle the matter. That attorney will also partner with me on any unique circumstances of the case to ensure the best possible legal strategy and representation.
Preparation and strategy are the cornerstones of our firm’s approach. Whether guiding a client through the complexities of family law, defending their rights in a legal dispute, or addressing any other legal challenge, we focus on building a strong attorney-client relationship, gaining a thorough understanding of the facts, and developing a clear strategy to apply the law effectively. Every case is unique, and our firm is committed to crafting solutions tailored to the specific needs and goals of our clients.
My legal foundation was built at Stetson University College of Law, where I began my trial advocacy training in 1998. Renowned for its exceptional trial program, frequently recognized by U.S. News & World Report, Stetson provided a fertile ground for honing my skills through numerous mock trials as a member of the 2001 Stetson Trial Team, competing across Florida and the country. After graduation, I served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 6th Judicial Circuit from 2001 to 2007. During those six years, I handled a wide range of cases, giving me valuable insight into how the law is applied in real-world situations. This experience strengthened my ability to analyze legal issues, assess complex fact patterns, and develop strategies that achieve results.
Seeking to broaden my legal knowledge, I transitioned into private practice, joining a prominent Tampa firm where I gained extensive experience in family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. This experience reinforced my belief that thorough preparation, careful analysis, and strong advocacy are essential in every legal matter—regardless of the practice area.
In October 2007, I opened my private practice in Punta Gorda, Charlotte County. What started as a solo practice has since grown into Bogle Law, a thriving firm supported by four seasoned attorneys and a dedicated team who share my commitment to delivering high-quality legal representation. In 2023, I had the honor of attending a week-long CLE training organized by the esteemed Trial Lawyers College based in Sheridan, Wyoming. This nationally recognized program, led by top attorneys and professionals from across the country, provided an invaluable opportunity to refine my advocacy skills and deepen my understanding of effective legal strategies.
Our firm’s experience spans family law, criminal defense, domestic violence matters, and civil disputes. No matter the legal challenge, our commitment to preparation, knowledge, and skill remains the same. At Bogle Law, P.A., we take pride in being strong advocates for our clients, helping them navigate the legal system with confidence and clarity.
In my spare time, I ride and train horses. You can learn a lot about behavior and how to get results from working with horses. I currently have seven American Quarter Horses and a 34-inch mini horse, each with their own distinct personality and challenges. Training horses has given me invaluable insight into patience, communication, and problem-solving—skills that also translate into the practice of law.

I cannot say enough great things about Tauna Bogle and her team, especially Elise. They took the time to listen to the details of the case, kept the information and facts straight, and explained the legal process(es) as we went along. I was confident that they were "on my side" and that they had the ...

Perfect Attorney
Tauna Bogle went above and beyond what is expected in an attorney. I decided to retain Ms. Bogle the first meeting, after she came highly recommended from a client I met in DUI class. She was honest, straight to facts and offered me the time to think about retaining her as my attorney. I was convin...

"I endorse this lawyer. Tauna is professional, knowledgeable, and an asset to the legal industry. She is one of those rare individuals who puts herself second to the needs of others. I know this from personal experience, because she dropped everything to handle a last minute personal dilemma I faced. As a lawyer, I know how hard this must have been, but she did it. This trait makes her an invaluable lawyer. That quality, combined with her legal knowledge and experience have rightfully earned her an esteemed reputation in our community."
"Tauna is a hard working, through lawyer who cares about her clients and does a superior job in defending them. You will be well served if you hire her for your defense."
"I endorse this lawyer. Tauna Bogle provides her clients with the highest level of legal advocacy. Her abilities both inside and outside of the courtroom are unmatched. When I have people seeking a criminal defense attorney in SWFL I send them to Ms. Bogle and her associate John Robson. Because at the end of the day it all comes down to getting results and seeing justice done. Ms Bogle and her team do that everyday!"
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I worked with Tauna for years at the State Attorney's Office. During this time I had the opportunity to both observe her work and work with her on several trials. Tauna Bogle is a professional and a fantastic lawyer. I would have no qualms in recommending her to anyone in the Punta Gorda area who is in need of a great Family and Criminal Defense lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I had the opportunity to work on several felony cases with Mrs. Bogle while we were both employed as felony prosecutors at teh State Attorney's Office in Clearwater-St. Petersburg. One case in particular was a high-profile child molestation case in which the defense wanted a speedy trial. Her skills in pretrial motions, in front of a jury, and, most importantly, her skills in comforting the witnesses themselves made the case a success for us. I would not hesitate to recommend her in any legal matter as I have seen first hand on several occassions how much effort and knowledge she is going to bring to the table."
