Kevin Shirley was hired to represent a friend in a criminal matter. He was paid in full, up front, after that nothing. He did not participate in discovery, he failed to depose witnesses, he was impossible to get in touch with and tried to get me to take a horrible deal, he never told the judge extrem...ely important information about my case and let me sit in jail for months on bogus charges. Would not recommend even to my enemies.

I hired Kevin Shirley to represent me in a minor criminal matter. I paid him in full, up front, after that nothing. He failed to show for 2 court hearings, he did not participate in discovery, he failed to depose witnesses, he refused to speak to me or answer my emails. I have hired another attorney.... I am preparing my complaint against him to the Florida Bar and I will be filing a small claims suit against him in an attempt to recover my fees paid to him.
