When I became an attorney, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of real people. I was drawn to work that allowed me to serve others in a meaningful way, to stand beside them during difficult times and help them move forward when the path ahead seemed overwhelming.
For over a decade, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families during some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. I have represented a widow grieving the loss of her husband, a father who tragically lost his son, a young man who suffered a traumatic amputation at work, and a delivery driver who became a quadriplegic after a devastating crash. I have also represented a child survivor of repeated sexual abuse and individuals and families impacted by gun violence and hit-and-run crashes.
Some of the cases I am most proud of began with people who had already been told “no” before they came to me. By taking the time to listen, investigate, and understand what others may have overlooked, I have been able to achieve meaningful results for clients who had previously been turned away.
Those experiences have taught me that this work is about far more than obtaining a settlement or winning a case. It is about showing up for people when they are vulnerable, treating their story with dignity, and making sure their case receives the care and preparation it deserves. Each and every client I have represented has shaped the lawyer I am today.
Florida has always been home. I grew up in Central Florida and moved to Fort Myers in 2013 to join an established personal injury firm. Since then, I have built my legal career in Southwest Florida. Today, my husband and I are raising our two children here, and I am proud to serve the community I call home.
Service Beyond the Courtroom
I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association, the state's leading organization dedicated to protecting the rights of injured Floridians and preserving access to our civil justice system. I also serve as President of the Southwest Florida Trial Lawyers Association, where local attorneys come together to strengthen our profession and become better advocates for the people we represent.
In addition, I serve as an officer on the Board of Directors of Abuse Counseling & Treatment (ACT), a local nonprofit organization that provides critical services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault here in Southwest Florida.
These roles give me the opportunity to contribute beyond my own practice, exchange ideas with others committed to serving our community, and remain engaged in the issues affecting the people I serve.
