Dedicated, professional and experienced
I went to Mr. Cohen for a free consultation in bankruptcy. I visited several other attorneys who advertised free consultation but the difference between those attorneys and Mr. Cohen was immediate. He spent an hour with me and my husband. We were treated as people and not a number. He also worked...

GREAT ATTORNEY !!!!!!
I came to him looking for legal advice about a lawsuit. Even though I had several other outstanding credit card debt and he could have made more money steering me to filing Chapter 13 bankruptcy, he worked with me and my creditors to resolve all my debt. He also worked with me to protect my asset...

REVIEW
Hire this guy. Otherwise, Stay away. Left a deposit in which I was assured would be refunded if we decided not to file. Refuses to give me my money back citing an extremely erroneous amount of "work" he did in the case despite the fact that we never filled out any paperwork regarding our financial si...
We are sorry you had a bad experience with our law firm. However, I have to respond to your ad hominem attacks. I am not a liar nor am I "extremely unethical " nor have I ever said to you nor have I ever said to my clients that if you decide not to file that I would refund your money back to you. You hired my firm to file your bankruptcy over a year ago and when you signed my agreement you read provisions in the retainer agreement that are contrary to your assertions. Also my consultation was not 15 minutes with you. On average my bankruptcy consultations are a minimum of 30 minutes if not longer. and most of the time they average an hour unlike most other firms. The written retainer agreement and other documents you received take more than 15 minutes to read and sign. In your review you never state that you received a partial refund of your money. In conclusion, you believe you were entitled to all your deposit and my position is that you did not. We have a differing of opinions but that does not give you the right to impugn my integrity and character.

Helpful, caring and knowledgeable
Even though I had a free bankruptcy consultation with Mr. Cohen, he spent over an hour with me discussing my legal options He relieved my concerns. About a month later I decided to hire him. I received my discharge about 4 months later without any problems. He always answered my questions either...
"Robert S. Cohen is a superb legal counsel. He has the legal knowledge and experience in bankruptcy and debt relief and I have had nothing but glowing reviews from clients I refer to him. Most importantly he takes the time to help people because he really cares which separates him from the other lawyers out there."
