Melissa and her team (Jenny, Josh and Martha to name a few) really did an AMAZING job with my son's cases. They worked very hard and kept us informed every step of the way. I cannot thank them enough for everything. If you want a team that is going to fight for you this is the team to pick !! 5 STARS... !!!

Where do I even begin? I hired Melissa for my child custody/paternity case, which was the biggest $5,000 mistake of my life. The entire time Melissa represented me, I never felt like she was working for me, as a matter of fact, most days I felt like I was working for her. She even tried to agree with... my ex's attorney to give my ex more timesharing with our daughter, to which he was not capable of having. If you are OK with an attorney NEVER responding to emails and or phone calls, and keeping you in the dark about your case, she is the attorney for you. If you call to speak with Melissa, and she is not in the office, you are going to be charged even though you only spoke with the secretary. Which brings me to my next topic, billing. There were ALWAYS errors on my bills from Melissa. They will charge you for the same service 3 times or more, mine ended up being 800$ in overages, and that was for ONE situation. I would also make payments, and my payments wouldn't be applied to my account. My journey with Melissa ended when I was questioning my bill with Melissa and that's when Melissa "withdrew" herself from my case ONE WEEK before our court date, in which we had been waiting for for a year. MELISSA IS TERRIBLE... and I wouldn't trust her or her staff with my DOG.

I hired Ms. Wilson in September of 2012 after letting another lawyer go. She promised aggressive action in a family law case. I told her I already had gotten several things done and gave her the case file to review. She did not review my case at all I know this because when I brought to her attention... that we had already filed for contempt and showed her the paper she told me she didn't know about it and would look into it . She had me go to several status conferences. which took up all but 900 of the 2500 retainer I gave her . She scheduled me for a mediation which we had already done as well as the several status conferences we had already done. She sent me an invoice for my remaining balance of the retainer and was off by a thousand dollars ! She admitted her mistake and corrected that . She admitted that she could not keep office staff. I already knew this due to the fact there was somebody new almost every time I called her. She has not returned emails or phone calls and the last email I received was from a paralegal stating Ms Wilson was too busy to talk with me and that paralegal has not returned emails. I have all this on file I can back up every statement I have made and I have never been rude to Ms Wilson or her staff so I am at a loss . A very big loss because now my daughter was taken by her mother and I have no help. In my opinion this lawyer has too many clients and office problems to be effective in representing me
