Melissa A Wilson

I originally hired Melissa for a custody modification. The morning I hired her, I actually met with another attorney that told me my chances of winning was just a dream and not a reality. I was devastated. I googled lawyers and found Melissa. She did a phone consult for free and I immediately hir...ed her. I know no attorney can guarantee an outcome which she never promised anything other than she will do everything she can to fight for me and my son. She knows her stuff and she fights for her clients. My ex put me through hell and if it wasn't for Melissa, her strong negotiating skills, her knowledge, and her good reputation with not only the judges, but also her fellow attorneys, my case would have ended terribly. If anyone ends up in a high conflict family law battle, I highly recommend Melissa!

I recently just went through a nasty divorce/ family court case. My ex did everything he could to make me look bad. I called Melissa's office on 11/15/2016 and hired her we spoke and went over everything. Melissa and her staff made me feel comfortable. My divorce went from November 2016 and was comp...leted on September 2017 with all the paperwork being signed off by the judge. Melissa and her staff knew their stuff and how to handle my case. Melissa won my case for me. I have my son and we couldn't be happier. If I ever need a lawyer again I will call Melissa and her staff.

Where do I even begin? I hired Melissa for my child custody/paternity case, which was the biggest $5,000 mistake of my life. The entire time Melissa represented me, I never felt like she was working for me, as a matter of fact, most days I felt like I was working for her. She even tried to agree with... my ex's attorney to give my ex more timesharing with our daughter, to which he was not capable of having. If you are OK with an attorney NEVER responding to emails and or phone calls, and keeping you in the dark about your case, she is the attorney for you. If you call to speak with Melissa, and she is not in the office, you are going to be charged even though you only spoke with the secretary. Which brings me to my next topic, billing. There were ALWAYS errors on my bills from Melissa. They will charge you for the same service 3 times or more, mine ended up being 800$ in overages, and that was for ONE situation. I would also make payments, and my payments wouldn't be applied to my account. My journey with Melissa ended when I was questioning my bill with Melissa and that's when Melissa "withdrew" herself from my case ONE WEEK before our court date, in which we had been waiting for for a year. MELISSA IS TERRIBLE... and I wouldn't trust her or her staff with my DOG.
