A friend referred me to Attorney Peddy 13 months ago. I had tried to pursue modification of child support on my own and was overwhelmed with the actions of my former husband and his attorney and felt the need to be represented. I was completely impressed from my very first visit. Attorney Peddy ex...plained everything to me in detail and assured me if I put my trust in him we would prevail. We ended in a trial and Attorney Peddy was not just organized but calm, collected and professional. Never having been in a courtroom for a trial I was nervous. This attorney will only accept a 5k retainer. That's your first red flag! He will take your money, do what he wants and tell you to trust him. 10 months later you will receive an invoice asking for more money. During that first 10 months, you will never see an invoice showing you where your 5k is bei...ng exhausted. Be prepared do most of the leg work, you will provide the office with most of the documentation needed to fight your case. Do not get involved with Brooke as your paralegal. She was never prepared and always needed to fetch an e-mail during one of our expensive phone conversations. Be prepared to pay this attorney 1k minimum to show up for a hearing. Mr. Peddy never did what he said he was going to do, never filed the proper motions, never used the documentation that was provided and quite honestly seemed overwhelmed and stressed out with his case load. In the end, my kids still suffer today!
