After many years of fighting an intense custody battle I hired Mr. Peddy and his wonderful staff. I had lost hope completely in the legal system. I would definitely recommend Robert Peddy for divorce cases. He is highly experienced in the Polk County family court system and has been winning many cases for many years. I got personally referred to him by the local Dockery family, for my divorce case, and after a two year long divorce battle, the... outcome was great, and that was despite me having to go up against my ex who was a malignant narcissist physician who played dirty and pulled out all the stops to try to pulverize me. Robert Peddy is very capable and knowledgeable about what exactly needs to be presented in court, and he impresses the judges with his case law references, which is really important. He is also talented at sussing out facts from witnesses during depositions and getting to the bottom of things. Personality wise he is respectable, ethical, honest, likable, no nonsense, down-to-earth, good natured, has a sense of humor, and most importantly always maintains his integrity. He has been at this for decades, through which he has developed the good judgment to be able to know when to make an argument and when not to, which paths are worth pursuing and which aren’t. He understands the various judges and works well with other attorneys. He is realistic and doesn’t make false promises, yet still gets awesome results.

Custody cases and ex spouses can be extremely difficult to say the least. Robert Peddy, Trish Alderman and their staff are amazing and have their heads on right (even when you don't-which can happen in the midst of such emotional chaos). Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees but, Peddy C...AN! We sometimes couldn't see how things would turn out well many times over because we were attacked with malicious lies and motion after motion of nonsense. Peddy just smiled and said, "here's what we are going to do... what do you think?" He always gave suggestions, asked what we wanted in the end and worked to achieve a well balanced ending EVERY TIME. He is well versed in law, socially engaged and respected by his peers as well as his judicial superiors. Peddy KNOWS family law and that is what you want when you are in the ring... not someone who says they have experience but someone who actually DOES. We wouldn't suggest any other family lawyer to anyone- only Robert Peddy, Jr. We trust him implicitly!
