Arthur Charles Fulmer Jr.

I was in an abusive marriage and finally left after 25 years. I left with very little cash, my clothes, and a few belongings. I filed for divorce pro-se and immediately my ex-husband hired an attorney, knowing that I did not have the funds to hire my own attorney. After several months of represe...nting myself, I knew I was over my head when my divorce judge kept telling me “I wish you had an attorney, I really wish you had an attorney.” I had spoken to Mr. Fulmer’s office previously for a consultation, and his fees were very reasonable, but I simply could not afford to pay them. After 10 months of fighting on my own, and being totally bullied by not only my ex-husband, but also his attorney, my parents said enough was enough and hired Mr. Fulmer for me. What a relief it was to not go about this on my own anymore! Mr. Fulmer stepped right in, immediately filed a motion to amend my original Dissolution of Marriage where I had stated I would decline alimony if my husband declined child support (he had custody at the time of our 17 yr old son). His office filed several other motions for me, ones I would have never considered no matter the research I did while working pro-se. It was amazing how a divorce that had been at a standstill was suddenly moving in the right direction! The court ordered mediation that had three times previously been cancelled by my ex-husband’s counsel actually happened. And we were able to settle, allowing me to get divorced 2 weeks later. I tried for months to do what he managed to get done in a matter of weeks! The entire office staff is very accommodating and helpful. They were supportive very pleasant – understanding that I was going thru a very painful time in my life. Mr. Fulmer, Jr. was very easy to work with, and he made sure that I was taken care of. Mr. Fulmer, Sr. was the attorney representing me at the final judgment. I had only met him once before in passing, but I cannot say enough good things about him either! Not only did he walk me thru what to expect at the final hearing, he also managed to get me two certified copies of my divorce decree that day so that I could begin my life again using my maiden name. I really would highly recommend this law firm to anyone in need of an attorney.

Mr. Art Fulmer Jr. has represented me three times. Once criminally, in my divorce/custody and most recently at an injunction trial. In every case if I didn't get exactly what I wanted, I got more than what I wanted. To say I am happy with his services is an understatement. He is smart, aggressive, a...nd just plain great at what he does. His skills in trial are impressive and I am grateful for what he has done for me. Having him by my side in court was worth every dime I have, but he charged next to nothing compared to other retainer fees I was quoted. Not only would I hire him again, I would never consider anyone else. Also, his office staff and paralegal are great.
