My daughter hired Kelly for me when I was incarcerated and right from the beginning she lied to me she said she set up a bond hearing and waited a week for court and bond hearing was never put in. I had to sit in jail for a week for a bond hearing the judge gave me a bond so as I waited for release I... was told by Kelly there was a misunderstanding and I will be released by 4 then she said bye 8am the next morning that there was a problem with the paper work next morning same thing. Then I was told she only had the judge clear one warrant and there where two so I had to wait one more week. every day she was coming for a visit never showed. She never contacted my witnesses my first court date after being released she said she was going to be there I was 10 minutes from court house and got a call from Kelly saying she wasnt not able to attend she sent someone else. When I got there I waited and waited when ask about my case the judge said I had a warrant out for my arrest for failure to appear because the date Kelly assured me all month was wrong. I almost was arrested but still humiliated and was treated terribly. Then I was told she was turning me over to a laywer in Tampa she had family issues to deal with. Called that lawyer and was told they never new anything about me. She kept saying were meeting with a lawyer monday no call no show then I would call and it was a friday no show on and on I never got to talk to a new attorney. she said he was going to be at my court date no one was there and as I waited to be called a friend sent me a notice saying Kelly Mc cabe has took other money and gave false addresses ect and is barred to practice law. She is a crook. I ask the judge if she was getting arrested for grand thief he said no sorry that isnt the way it works pretty much she gets away with taking peoples money when she know she is barred and does'nt do her job. I know if I took money from someone and did'nt do the job I would be arrested .

I need a domestic violence protection order removed that was 20 years old, so that I could get a job. She charged me $750. Never filed the motion. Lied and said she did. I lost my job and she mailed me and fraudulent motion that was never filed with the courts. I called the clerk of the court, I was ...told that no motion was filed on my behalf.

We hired McCabe and Uccello to represent my son in a felony drug charge. They were very quick to take a $2500 retainer fee from us while my son rotted away in county jail due to an outrageous bond which niether McCabe or Uccello would fight to get lowered. My son spent nearly three months in jail w...ith only two visits from McCabe and Uccello. Each visit lasted maybe 10 minutes with the promise that they were close to geting him released on bail, Then came the demand for additional $2500 to continue representation which we paid. 90 more days passed and my son was still in jail, so 180 days in jail with zero effort on McCabe and Uccello to get his released. Then one day I get a call telling me that they have been working hard on a plea bargain with the DA. They offered my son time served if he plead guilty to felony possession, agreed to a $5000 fine and 5 years probation. Due to his treatment in jail, he was forced into accepting the plea. He is now undergoing mental health therapy for jail related PTSD. McCabe and Uccello are worthless legal predators that are quick to take your money and then do NOTHING! Notice Uccello is no longer a defense attorney but a staff attorney for Geico. McCabe hs been disciplined by the Florida bar. Imagine that!
