Pads billing
I was referred by a friend and she overcharged charged for no services other than reading emails. Be careful to ask for specific costs.

Replied last September 29, 2020First and foremost, I am sorry this client is unhappy with the billing. Attorneys charge for two things, knowledge and time; we don't build bridges. Reading, analyzing what was received by email or any communication means, and researching an appropriately legal and professionally accurate response DO take time. We use our knowledge and experience in such a way as to combine legal principles with facts as presented by a situation on a case by case basis in order to give the client the most accurate response and one that is personal to their particular issue(s) and fact scenario.. That takes time, experience and knowledge and those are precisely the elements for which attorneys charge. Litigation is an expensive and stressful experience, but clients must be mindful that their attorney did not put them in their situation but once retained it is our job to help them resolve their issue.
