Christopher M. Smith is currently the Managing Litigation Attorney with Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers, a premier personal injury law firm helping clients throughout the greater Clearwater, FL, area.
Smith knew he wanted to be an attorney from a young age, stating that he “loved the idea of being in court advocating for others.” A Clearwater native, Attorney Smith graduated from Florida State University for his undergraduate studies in 2007 and went on to obtain his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011.
Upon graduation, Smith initially worked for the Hillsborough County Public Defenders. His next position before joining Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers was with a family law practice. This experience in the criminal and family law fields is highly beneficial to his current practice in the personal injury field. Many of the skills he garnered through those positions, such as the ability to help people make it through especially difficult situations, have shown through to this day.
In his free time, Attorney Smith enjoys spending time on Bayshore Boulevard with his family and staying active. He regularly finds gratitude in his work through “the ability to leave someone in a better position than they were when they came to you.” Smith genuinely enjoys the opportunities to meaningfully help others that his job allows.
