Doug was able to get a reduction of my DUI charge with a blood alcohol level of a .175 to Wreckless Driving. This was a huge victory for me and my family given my occupation and where I am at in my career. This review is probably six months too late..I was booked for domestic violence by strangulation and battery..A felony and a misdemeanour charge.Douglas was amongst the last lawyers I interviewed. .He was both comforting and very positive as a lawyer..He went about explaining the options to me.and al...so personally was able to speak to the state attorney's office in pinellas county to have the case dropped.and exactly as he promised in the duration that he promised me..The case was dropped and I was given a clean discharge..Douglas gave me a lot of time,I was not easy either..I always had a lot of questions and he patiently met me more than 5 times over the one month of our association. .well he wasn't just a lawyer but also acted as a friend..A guide.. my case was also a little bit tricky because I am a green card holder and not a us citizen. So I was also looking at potential deportation. .Douglas handled my case extremely well and him being able to talk to the state attorney directly was of great help. The entire case was resolved in less than 2 months. .and Douglas really held my hand through the process..reassuring me..like I said he worked with me both as a friend and as a lawyer..and his fees were reasonable and he allowed me to pay over a period of time. .Thank you Douglas. .For your patience..and kindness..He is a great lawyer..and an even greater human being..
