also known as Phil Weylie
Philip A. Weylie was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in the Tampa Bay area, where he currently resides. He has spent the last ten years representing Florida residents who have been wrongfully harmed or injured by the negligence of others.
Since he started practicing law, Philip has built a reputation as a formidable opponent known for his strategic thinking and effectiveness in the courtroom. He has fought on behalf of ordinary people and strived to obtain justice, no matter how challenging or complex the case. Philip’s extensive experience in handling personal injury matters and his steadfast determination to hold parties accountable for their negligent or harmful actions makes him a trusted advocate for those who have been seriously injured.
Philip has also spent much of his career helping foreign nationals obtain U.S. Residency and Citizenship. In addition to Personal Injury Law and U.S. Immigration Law, Philip also practices Probate Law, and Real Estate Law.
Philip earned his Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Stetson University College of Law in 2012. Simultaneously, Philip also earned his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Stetson University College of Business in Deland, Florida. Before attending law school, he received his Bachelor’s of Arts (B.A.) from Eckerd College in 2008. Throughout his career, Weylie has been an unwavering supporter of veterans’ organizations through volunteering, donations, and sponsorship. He is also a former partner at Veterans Memorial Title.
Philip Weylie is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in the Middle District of Florida Federal Courts.
In his free time, Philip loves staying active, as he’s played competitive sports the majority of his life. He attended Eckerd College with a full baseball and academic scholarship after being named St. Petersburg Times’ (now Tampa Bay Times) Pinellas County Baseball Player of the Year and 1st Team All State in 2004. Presently, he plays baseball, golf, and hockey and enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Gina, and his two French bulldogs, Mr. Cooper and Drogo.
