Benjamin Dean Keener

My practice focuses on civil litigation, first party insurance litigation, coverage analysis, and claim investigation.   I specialize in the areas of sinkhole loss, fire/arson, theft, in addition to wind and water losses effecting residential, commercial and condominium properties.   I also represent Condominium Associations and Homeowner's Associations in actions pertaining to their bylaws and assist in lien issues.   I have additional experience in the areas of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, premises liability, general civil litigation and criminal law. I bring over sixteen years of insurance industry experience, as I worked as a Florida licensed independent all-lines adjuster prior to my  legal career, handling a wide variety of residential and commercial property losses including wind and flood, in addition to training and supervising adjusters new to the field.  I also contribute to clients’ operations through claims process evaluation and optimization, statutory compliance analysis and policy form drafting.   Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss any insurance defense/coverage issues that you may have.
