Bonnie Riggens is owner of the Law Office of Bonita M. Riggens in St. Petersburg, Florida. She became a member of the Florida Bar in 1984. She is also a member of the U.S. Circuit Court, Middle District of Florida, the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeal, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Ms. Riggens received her law degree from the University of Miami, cum laude (with honors). She also has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, an M.A. from Ohio University and attended the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Ms. Riggens served as law clerk/staff attorney for the Honorable Herboth S. Ryder of the Florida Second District Court of Appeal for 3 and ½ years. She was one of the drafters of Respondent’s Brief in the U.S. Supreme Court case of School Board of Nassau County v. Arline and of the Appellant’s Jurisdictional Statement to the U.S. Supreme Court in The Florida Star v. B.J.F. Ms. Riggens has served as both a speaker, author, and expert witness on several aspects of employment law. She has been a national and Florida member of the National Employment Lawyer's Association since 1993.

proposed discharge from job
Bonnie is a very experienced lawyer and got me reduced from losing my job to a suspension. i would definitely recommend her if you have a problem and want to save your job. She is very professional , focused and you need her if you have a problem with your employer.
