also known as Adriene L. Ables
Adriene Ables was born and raised in southern Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in political science, and a minor in communications. Adriene is an alumni of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. While at OU, Adriene was recognized for her service to her community through participation in community service organizations, and was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity. Thereafter, she received her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While attending law school, Adriene worked for two years as an intern for a local private law firm focusing on criminal and personal injury law.
After graduating law school, Adriene moved to the Florida Keys in 2004 where she began work in firms specializing in family law. For seven years Adriene handled all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and injunction issues. She continued her focus on family law until 2011 when she decided to pursue her love for helping the less fortunate by taking a position with the Monroe County Office of the Public Defender in 2011. She then transferred to the Pinellas County Public Defender’s office in 2015, continuing her fight to protect the rights of those in need. During her eight years of service of focusing on criminal defense, Adriene represented thousands of clients facing criminal charges ranging from traffic tickets to murder.
Adriene’s diverse experience allows her to understand her clients while protecting them in difficult times. It was through this experience that she developed her passion of trial practice and fighting for justice, despite the odds sometimes being against her clients.
Adriene is a member of the Florida, Pinellas and Hillsborough Bar Associations. She was admitted to practice in Florida in 2004. Her current primary areas of practice are criminal defense, family law and consumer rights protection.
