Biography
Originally from Atlanta, Illinois, Jason received his bachelors degree in criminology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2002. Thereafter, Jason attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctor. After two and a half years at FCSL, Jason finished law school as a visiting student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
While in law school, Jason was a member of Florida Coastal’s Mock Trial team and served as clerk for the Honorable Buddy D. Perry, senior circuit court judge for the 12th judicial district of Tennessee. While serving as Judge Perry’s clerk, Jason drafted numerous opinions for review, all being submitted for record, and none being overturned on appeal.
Upon completion of his clerkship with Judge Perry, Jason served as a law clerk for the AV rated firm of Butler, Vines, and Babb in Knoxville, TN. While at Butler, Vines, and Babb, Jason focused primarily in complex medical malpractice litigation and serious personal injury claims.
Upon graduating from law school and successfully passing the Tennessee Bar Exam, Jason relocated to Sarasota, Florida where he went to work for the 12th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office. Jason is a former Assistant State Attorney who has successfully tried and won numerous cases with the focus on Driving Under the Influence.
After serving his tenure with the State Attorney’s office, Jason was chosen to work for The Law Office of Finebloom & Haenel. While at Finebloom & Haenel, Jason focused on DUI defense, earning several downcharges to reckless driving for his clients. Additionally, Jason argued many successful motions to suppress evidence, and earned many dismissals of his clients’ cases.
In his short time in the Bay area, Jason has earned a reputation throughout the legal community as being a fair and reasonable attorney who fiercely represents his clients in the pursuit of the most favorable result for them.
Jason is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Best Lawyer Around!...that actually cares for each person individually
Accused of DUI, Jason got the State to drop to Reckless Driving and a withhold of Adjudication. Got classes dropped and even offered to pay for the sealing of records. Even the Judge was suprised with the plea deal from the State. Couldn't ask for anything better!!!
