She was very knowledgeable with worker comp laws which made it a smooth process. She got me back in with my workers comp physician the following week after meeting with her. She then, after a denial for a MRI got me in right away to see a new workers comp physician about my back issues. After talkin...g with that physician I was able to seek her expert opinon on the route we should go and in the end I was happy with our decision to settle. She processed my request to settle immediately and 3 weeks later I had my settlement check. Very pleased with her and her knowledgeable staff.

I spoke with Katherine over the phone and in person concerning a workers compensation case. Initially, I respected her for taking the time to inform me about worker's compensation guidelines. As any client I want the best attorney and after research I decided in favor of her representation. A phone c...onference was scheduled, but this attorney failed to contact me. I called her assistant and she was surprised to find out that the attorney had not followed through on the conference call. The assistant checked with the attorney to find out why the conference call appointment was delayed. The assistant stated that the attorney was in a meeting with a new client, but she would give me a call. I stayed home waiting for the call for over 2 hours, but did not receive a call from Katherine. I finally received an email from her assistant and she asked if the attorney had called me. I informed her that the attorney had not called and asked if Katherine was available to represent me. After not receiving another email from the assistant, I allowed a couple days to pass then I sent an email on the second day. I finally received an email from her assistant stating that Katherine would not represent me. This came as a surprise, because she told me in person a few times, via email, and via phone that she would do so. I did not receive a reason for her decision not to take my case. Although, I have to start searching for a new attorney all over again, I am happy that I found out in time that Katherine is unreliable and unprofessional. I have never been involved with worker's compensation, and I need an attorney that is honest and willing to represent me in this most difficult time.
