Peter Jackie Muchunas

Mr. Muchunas has been practicing bankruptcy law for over 20 years and has represented hundreds of consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies and small businesses in Chapter 7 liquidation cases. He is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Florida and the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Mr. Muchunas has devoted his entire professional practice to helping individuals and small businesses who face financial problems. He is experienced in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions, conducting 341 Meetings, filing objections to claims of credits, filing adversary complaints to strip down second mortgages, conducting hearings and trials in bankruptcy court and defending motions brought by the trustee and creditors against the debtor. In addition to bankruptcy law, he also represents clients in civil litigation matters, foreclosure defense, debt collection defense, negotiations and real estate transactions.

Mr. Muchunas is a graduate of Virginia Tech where he received his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1986. In 1989 he received his law degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is licensed to practice in three states: Florida, Illinois and North Carolina.

Mr. Muchunas has always placed an emphasis on attention to the individual client. He provides the client with the legal options that are available to them and recommends the solution which is best suited for their situation.
