Byron is a Tampa Bay native who opened the Temple Terrace Law Group in 2020. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School (Tampa campus) in August 2018. Previously he clerked at the Beltz & Beltz Law Firm, and worked as an attorney at The Reyes Firm, and Edison, Edison & Brandt.
Prior to attending law school, Byron briefly worked in politics and then spent the next four years working for his family’s non-profit educational corporation, Blackstone Prep. He also regularly volunteered at Give Kids the World Village assisting children with life-threatening conditions.
During law school, Byron was the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and also competed in two national moot court competitions. After he retired from competing, he continued to volunteer judging practice sessions. He served as the Competition Chairman of the Mock Trial Board, drafted the in-school competition fact-pattern, and handled the schematics of the event. Additionally, he was an active member of Cooley’s Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Society chapter. He graduated Cum Laude, and was the recipient of Cooley Law School’s Leadership Achievement Award.
Byron enjoys his pets, wildlife, painting, Cuban coffee, and loves traveling the world. He is semi-fluent in American Sign Language and can help the deaf community and the hard of hearing navigate the legal system. Byron is a member of the Florida Justice Association, and volunteers to assist those in financial need with domestic violence actions. He also continues to volunteer at Cooley Law School with both the Moot Court and Mock Trial Boards.
