Replied last September 8, 2014I am sorry that his anonymous client did not approach me directly to attempt to resolve his or her issue before posting this review. I have always tried to be responsive to each of my clients, and provide my personal cell phone number and e-mail address to each when they retain me to represent them. I can assure this client and any readers that my priority is never to maintain friendships with other attorneys as part of my professional work; I work hard to vigorously assert my clients' rights regardless of who is on the other side. Indeed, since I do family law appeals on a regular basis, I do not mind publicly stating my opinion when I believe either another attorney or a judge has made an error. I invite this client to contact me directly to see if there is anything I can do to improve his or her opinion of me, and I believe that the experience reported by this person is not representative of the vast majority of my clients. My marketing has been by nothing but word of mouth for the 27 years since I founded my own firm. I am and have always been quite busy during that period of time. I therefore believe my work and professional ethics are above reproach.

Careless, negligent, unresponsive. Not Family Friendly follows the money only

I have always tried to be responsive to each of my clients, and provide my personal cell phone number and e-mail address to each when they retain me to represent them. I do note that the fact that money was an issue with this client is indicative that I in fact must have entered into a payment plan with him or her after they became unable to pay my bill; I believe most attorneys simply withdraw from their representation when the money runs out rather than continuing to represent the individual. I also note that I must have believed in this client's case to have continued to represent him or her after they became unable to pay me on a timely basis. I invite this client to contact me directly to see if there is anything I can do to improve his or her opinion of me, and I believe that the experience reported by this person is not representative of the vast majority of my clients. My marketing has been by nothing but word of mouth for the 27 years since I founded my own firm. I am and have always been quite busy during that period of time. I therefore believe my work and professional ethics are above reproach. I am sorry that this client had a poor experience with me, and I hope to be able to discuss these issues with him or her.
